We had some friends over the last two days and we thought it would be nice to welcome them with these handmade biscuits. The recipe is from the french book “Biscuits Maison“, that comes with the lovely biscuit stamp.
200 gr butter
200 gr sugar
400 gr flour
(crushed pistachios, crushed French pralines, cocoa powder or just a little more flour for the plain version)
Mix sugar and eggs. Gradually add flour. Cut in the butter. Add pistachios, pralines or wathever you choose. Knead until you have a soft dough.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut out circles with a glass or biscuit cutter and stamp them.
Bake 10 minutes at 180°C.
