We were in Annecy yesterday, and went to Fnac éveil et jeux to buy a gift for our lovely little friend Elena, who just turned two.

Inspired by Soule Mama’s bird calendar (that we are definitely going to copy) we have been birdwatching this afternoon.
Unfortunately, I have spent 31 years of my life in big cities (Turin, London, Nice) and all I know is pigeons and gulls. But, as we say in Italy, “Hope never dies”, so I subscribed the regional LPO (Ligue pur la Protection des Oiseaux) website. Hopefully, I will be able to learn a lot of new and interesting things, along with my kids.

Bad day

I’ve had a horrible day today. Gloria is so prickly and difficult in this moment… I am more patient and indulgent than I was with Leonardo at her age, but sometimes she just drives me crazy. Add Leonardo throwing tantrums at lunchtime and the result is a nervous, yelling mother feeling so guilty at the end of the day. I feel so bad. They’re in bed now and I wanted to breath and find inspiration reading my favourite blogs. But you guys make me feel even worse! Please, tell me that you have horrible days, too, and that sometimes you yell at your kids… Please tell me that I am not such a horrible mother…
