Once upon a time, a long time ago, there lived two happy people called Tim and Maggie with their two children, John and Lucy. To understand how happy they were you have to understand how things were in those days.
You see in those happy days everyone was given a small, soft Fuzzy Bag when born. Any time a person reached into this bag they were able to pull out a Warm Fuzzy. Warm Fuzzies were very much in demand because whenever someone was given a Warm Fuzzy it made them feel warm and fuzzy all over. (Continue reading A Warm Fuzzy Tale)
A great tool to teach our kids how to communicate their emotions.
This book is one of the best things I ever bought. Transactional Analysis helped me a lot in the past and, as it happened with yoga, I wanted to share what I had learned with my kids. I wanted them to learn how to use those simple but powerful tools and have a better life.
When I discovered “A warm Fuzzy Tale” I just HAD to bring it home. The kids loved it and even asked for their own Warm Fuzzies.
So we started spreading the word and spreading Warm Fuzzies all around us.
We now use the Warm Fuzzies (and Cold Pricklies) concept all the time.
When the kids are arguing I just have to say “You are giving your brother/sister a Cold Pricklie“. That works like a charm. They immediately understand, go and pick a Warm Fuzzy for the other one.
My husband and I use Warm Fuzzies with the kids and between us. That makes communication so much easier!
