Alfabetiere munari

Bruno Munari (1907-1998) was an Italian artist, a designer, an author, an illustrator and much more. He wrote hundreds of kids books and organized creative workshops all over the world.

Today we would like to introduce Bruno Munari‘s Alphabet Book. In this book, the letters are not in the classical order but they are organized from the easiest (i) to the hardest (G) to write. Each letter is made by a collage of press-cuttings. Each one represents the letter and they are all put together so that they form the same letter again.

Winter Babywearing: a Poncho for Two

Poncho per due

To great demand, here are the instructions to make my “poncho for two”.

Ispired by a “La Droguerie” model, this poncho allows you to cover/uncover with one move both mother and baby.

If you choose felted wool or pile your poncho for two will be ready in five minutes. All you need to do is cut, then sew on the buttons and make the buttonholes.

If you choose knitted material, like the one in the picture, you have to hem the seams. In that case you might need ten minutes.

The poncho for two is one size, if you’re quite tall and big, or petite, you might have to modify the measurements for your own personal needs.
