The kids celebrated Easter in school today. Leonardo and his class did that in the woods and I went with them to give a hand. Jacqueline, the teacher, showed me how to make bird nests that the kids would hide for the easter rabbit to fill them with eggs.
Alexandra was cooking a soup on a wood fire, and she asked me to pick some “Ail des ours” (literally Bears’ garlic). It’s a sort of wild garlic but I don’t know its english name. She said she makes pesto with it.

Love the little nests! And his red hair against the green woods – what a nice photo. That pesto looks delicious! Green, green, green!
pesto, wild or domesticated, rocks my world! it looks amazing.i love your blog, by the way.
I just love your blog, *sigh*…Xxx
